Good morning, freaks. Welcome again to the asylum. So glad you’re here.
This week, I have another installment of LEGEND OF THE SWORD BEARER available for your viewing pleasure.
Here we meet two detective inspectors of Her Majesty’s finest investigating the peculiar events of the night before. You may remember that Bran encountered (and killed) two ogres. The detectives are reasonably shocked at the appearance of something so outlandish. I’m sure you would be, too, having no doubt never seen an ogre.
Anyway, have I mentioned March is one of my least favorite months? It is. One day we have beautiful, spring-like weather, and the next day the temperatures plunge and we have snow-fog. What is snow-fog, you may ask? Snow-fog is when the snow is falling so thick and fast that it has all the appearance of fog. That’s what it was doing this morning. I couldn’t see the end of my street. Furthermore, it was only 6 degrees above zero. That’s Fahrenheit for all you Brits and Canadians. That’s pretty darn cold. The wind just made it that much worse. April probably won’t be much better, though. I suppose I can just look forward to May. May should be fine. Probably.
By the way, if you should happen to find yourself stuck inside during such garbage weather, why not curl up with a good book? Bookshop.org has a wide selection from every genre you can imagine. Every dollar spent on Bookshop goes to help local bookstores in communities all over the US, which is why I’m proud to be a Bookshop affiliate. I’ve gotten a pretty good start on editing my next novella THE FALL OF EMRYS. I’m currently on chapter three of eleven. I’m in no hurry. As I said, I’m hoping to have it out by July. I’m looking forward to that, as are my beta readers, I think. But I’ll need to fix a ton of continuity errors first.
Oh, by the way, my newest Walter Ulric story is out and available for your reading pleasure. I’ll warn you, though; this was one of those stories where I had to stop and ask myself if I was okay. It’s kinda freaky. Well, as freaky as I get, anyway. Just click the image below, if you dare.
Well, that’s all, folks. Thanks for reading, and if you enjoyed this ramble through my insanity, I ask that you share this newsletter with your friends.
