Good morning, people of earth (and other interested parties) and welcome to another walz with weirdness.
Right off the bat, I have a new installment of LEGEND OF THE SWORD BEARER on Webtoon for you to feast your eyes on. This one tackles more of the backstory of the Legend, and there’s actually quite a bit to do with my novellas, so be sure to take a gander! Click the image below to see for yourself!
Speaking of my novellas, I reached what I thought to be a triumph, but ended up being a false peak to an even larger mountain of work. I thought I had finally completed the final draft of THE TOWER OF EMRYS, but, thanks (or no thanks) to my beta readers, I’ve found more ideas that need fleshing out.
At first I wanted to slam my head into my desk, or toss my computer out the window and forget about whole thing, but then, in the cold light of morning, everything seemed to make total sense (as usual).
You see, I’m not the most patient person ever. I’m sure my relatives would be shocked to hear me say that (heh). I like to get right to the important, action-y parts of my stories as quickly as possible. However, that sometimes means I skip over important character development and dialogue parts. Y’know, the parts that make the characters make sense to other people instead of just in my own head.
This is probably my main weakness as a writer, and one that I’m working to correct. I’m adding those important bits in. I thought it would be hard, but it’s actually not so bad.
By the way, if you have someone special in your life who enjoys fast-paced, action-packed fantasy adventures, look no further than my two novellas A SONG OF EMRYS and its sequel, THE SWORD OF EMRYS, both available on Kindle and paperback.
Thrill to the exciting adventures of King Emrys of Camelot, and his faithful bard Taliesin as they battle evil gods and mythic monsters in the mysterious ancient Britain!

In other news, I also picked up another Walter Ulric story that had been sitting around on my drive. This one will focus on more of the backstory of his partner, Conrad LeFontain and his work as a monster hunter with the Holy Order of St. Michael. It’s sure to be an interesting one. If you’re not familiar with Walter Ulric or Conrad LeFontain, you’re in luck, ‘cause I just re-published one of my first short stories about them, and you can read it here.
Anyway, that’s all for this week. Be sure and share my newsletter with your friends, relatives, heck, even your enemies if you think they’ll like it. Have a great week!
