Good morning, kings and queens. welcome again to my little shop of madness.
First thing’s first, I just published another episode of LEGEND OF THE SWORD BEARER for your reading pleasure. Just click or tap the image below to read it on Webtoon today!
In other news, you’ll never guess what happened; okay maybe you will. More rewrites. Yeah, I know I said I was finally through rewriting THE TOWER OF EMRYS, but a beta-reader game me some more good ideas that I simply can’t leave unused, so it’s going back for more. I’m hoping to have it out by the New Year, but it may be my best book yet. By the way, if you haven’t read my other two books yet, you can get them on Amazon right now. They make great Christmas gifts for young and old alike.
Speaking of rewriting, I rewrote and re-published one of the Walter Ulric stories I wrote last year. This eerie tale concerns the Goat-Man, an evil entity living in the forests of Swaggert County, WV. It is said that if you see the Goat-Man, death is sure to follow by the next new moon. This being is based upon a real figure of Mountain folklore, said to stalk the forests of St. George County, Maryland. He’s said to be half-man, half-goat, and people still claim to see him now and then. Some say he’s a circus freak, others say he’s a demon spawn. No one knows for sure what he is, or even IF he is.
I took a bit of poetic license with this story, as any good fantasy author should. The Goat-Man of Maryland is said to carry an axe, while mine, as you can see, is armed with a sickle. I took some cues from traditional folklore of Europe, where there is a long tradition of half-man, half-goat monsters stalking the forest.
It’s an exciting tale terror that I’m sure you’ll enjoy! Click or tap the image below to get the full story!
Well, that’s all for this week. I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving holiday, and I will see you next week!
