Good morning, people of Earth (and other interested parties). Welcome again to the mad ramblings of an obscure artist.
This week I have yet another episode of LEGEND OF THE SWORD BEARER for you. In this one we find out the terrible truth of where Orla has disappeared to. Click the image below to find out for yourself!
It was hard to draw due to all the different angles I wanted to include. It’s all part of the composition; when you’re drawing a comic, you gotta make the page interesting enough for the audience to pay attention.
I’d like to hope everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday, but I know that isn’t the case; partly because a number of my followers here are not US citizens, partly because we’ve ruined Thanksgiving. I saw too many tweets and posts complaining about relatives. We’ve taken a day about being thankful and made it into a day for people who barely tolerate each other to get together and argue. Worse than that, it’s becoming politicized. Don’t even bother getting together if all you’re gonna do is fight.
There. Now on to something less depressing. I made significant progress on THE TOWER OF EMRYS over the holiday and I’m quite pleased with how it’s turning out. I had to add in another character, but that’s what happens sometimes. they just pop out of the ether and refuse to be ignored so you have to include them. Some of my best characters have been created that way.
Speaking of which, I just rewrote and published an older Walter Ulric story that I trust you’ll enjoy, if you enjoy that sort of thing. Click the image below to read the spine-tingling tale of THE BUGBEAR.
In case you hadn’t noticed, November is at an end, and soon it will be the most wonderful time of the year. Do you have a young fantasy reader in your life? Look no further than my two exciting, fast-paced novellas A SONG OF EMRYS and its sequel THE SWORD OF EMRYS. They are clean, fun, action-packed, and appropriate for young readers! Well, that’s all for this week. Have yourselves a great December, and stay rad!
