After escaping her for two years, Rona finally caught me.
The symptoms started on Friday, though it might’ve been Thursday night with a scratchy throat. So far, it’s been slowly going downhill from there. A runny nose accompanied the scratchy throat, followed by aches, chills and a fever. I’ve felt like a 90 year old man for the past couple of days, but honestly this isn’t the worst virus I’ve ever caught. Not even close. Though, it probably is the slowest I’ve ever caught. She’s taking her good old time.
And the strange part is none of this bothers me. I just want to get on with it. I don’t care about any of these symptoms. I don’t even feel like complaining.
Well, enough of that depressing stuff; here’s the latest from LEGEND OF THE SWORD BEARER:
I don’t have much to report regarding THE FALL OF EMRYS. I’m over half-way through editing it, though I think I’ll have to significantly rewrite some passages, just because they don’t seem to serve any narrative purpose and I’m just not happy with them. I’m gonna leave them in and let my editor make the final decision, though.
By the way, if you haven’t read my other three books, now would be a great time to remedy that. Great for all readers 11 and up! Click the image to get them now!
I’m also working on a completely new project; The Magnificent Adventure of Reginald Oglethorpe. This is a story I’ve wanted to make happen for a while, but I didn’t have anything resembling a plot. But I do now!
Captain Reginald Oglethorpe (OBE) is famous, if eccentric, zeppelin pilot and explorer, widely discredited by the Royal Geographical Society for his unorthodox ideas and outlandish tales. Oglethorpe, in an effort to vindicate himself, plans a daring expedition to the South Seas. With his two traveling companions, the intrepid explorer sets out on the adventure of a lifetime! Coming soon to Amazon!
